- Morocco has three mobile networks: Maroc Telecom, Orange Maroc and inwi. At the end of March 2026, Orange held 34.38% of mobile lines, inwi 34.04% and Maroc Telecom 31.58% (ANRT).
- Commercial 5G started on 7 November 2025. At the end of March 2026 it accounted for 8.4% of mobile internet subscriptions, against 86.8% for 4G.
- In the ANRT's May 2026 tests across ten cities, mobile downloads averaged 148 Mbps; Marrakech averaged 168 Mbps.
- A week of unlimited travel eSIM data cost between about €23.70 and €32 among the well-known providers on 1 October 2026: Nomad €23.69, eSIM Maroc €24, Ubigi €25, Holafly €28.90, Airalo €32. eSIM Maroc was cheaper than Holafly for 5 to 15 days and than Airalo for 5 to 10 days, but Nomad and the Orange Travel promotion (valid until 15 November 2026) were cheaper at several lengths.
- Morocco is outside the EU roaming zone: out-of-bundle data can cost more than €10 per megabyte.
