France eSIM guide: travel eSIMs, local SIMs and networks for visitors from outside the EU

This page gathers everything eSIM Check has published about staying connected in France: our price survey of seven travel eSIMs, the prepaid and visitor offers of Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free, and the regulator's measurements of the four networks. It is written for visitors from outside the European Union. If your SIM comes from an EU country, or from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Moldova or Ukraine, you already roam in France at home prices under the EU's roam-like-at-home rules, within your operator's fair-use limits, and you do not need anything else. Everyone else, from the UK, North America, Switzerland, the Maghreb, Latin America or the Gulf, should compare a travel eSIM with their own operator's roaming price. Every figure is dated, and every article links to its sources.
