Oman eSIM guide: prices, networks and coverage from Muscat to the mountains and the sands

This page gathers everything eSIM Check has published about staying connected in Oman: our price survey of the travel eSIMs, the tourist SIM and eSIM plans of Omantel, Ooredoo and Vodafone, the independent measurements of the three networks, and what to expect on a road trip to the Hajar mountains, the Sharqiya Sands, Musandam or Salalah. Every figure is dated, and every article links to its sources.

  • Local tourist lines work in Oman only: Omantel and Ooredoo both state that their tourist SIMs include no roaming, which matters if you drive through the UAE to Musandam.
