Seychelles eSIM guide: travel eSIMs, tourist SIMs and coverage on Praslin and La Digue

This page gathers everything eSIM Check has published about staying connected in the Seychelles: our price survey of eight travel eSIMs, the visitor plans of the two local operators, the regulator's network tests and what is known about coverage on Praslin and La Digue. Every figure is dated, and every article links to its sources.

Key facts

  • The Seychelles has two mobile operators, Airtel Seychelles and Cable & Wireless Seychelles. Airtel appears in 87.6% of the Seychelles plans that name a network on the comparison database esimdb (20 October 2026); Holafly, Nomad and Airalo name Airtel.
  • In tests on the move commissioned by the Seychelles Communications Regulatory Authority on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue (25 September to 31 October 2024), Airtel averaged 16.8 Mbps download against 7.3 Mbps for Cable & Wireless, which had the lower latency.
  • On 20 October 2026, Holafly sold 7 days of unlimited Seychelles data for €37.90, below the esimdb median of €83.74 for a week; Nomad sold 3 GB valid 30 days for €15.12.
  • Cable & Wireless publishes four Traveller Plans for visitors, from €19.99 for 10 GB over 7 days, ordered on the Seychelles Electronic Border System and registered in person with a passport (terms dated March 2024).
  • On nPerf's crowdsourced maps, which show where users tested rather than guaranteed coverage, Airtel had tests along much of Praslin's coastal roads and La Digue's west coast; Cable & Wireless had only a handful of test points on the two islands.
