Sri Lanka eSIM guide: prices, networks and coverage from Colombo to the hill country

This page gathers everything eSIM Check has published about staying connected in Sri Lanka: our price survey of the travel eSIMs, the tourist SIMs and eSIMs of Dialog, SLT-Mobitel and Hutch, the independent measurements of the three networks, and what to expect on the Kandy to Ella train, in the national parks and on the south coast. Sri Lanka received 1,693,679 visitors between January and September 2026 according to the tourism authority, with the United Kingdom, Germany and France among its biggest European markets. Every figure is dated, and every article links to its sources.
