Pixel 9 Series eSIM support
Yes — all 5 models in the Pixel 9 Series support eSIM.
Checked against the 5 Pixel 9 Series entries in our device database. This generation is one generation behind the current Pixel 10 Series, but eSIM support does not expire: an older model that shipped with the hardware keeps it.

What this means in practice
On Pixel, eSIM is under Settings › Network & internet › SIMs › Download a SIM instead. Pixel phones have carried eSIM since the Pixel 2, which makes them one of the safest Android families for travel eSIMs. Since the Pixel 7 the phone holds multiple downloaded profiles and switches between them without re-scanning a QR code.
Check your own device
A model list tells you what the hardware can do. It cannot tell you whether your particular unit is carrier-locked, or whether it is a regional variant sold without eSIM hardware. Run the free check on the phone itself — it reads the eUICC chip directly and answers in a few seconds.
