On iPhone, eSIM lives in Settings › Cellular › Add eSIM. Models sold in the United States have no SIM tray at all — they are eSIM-only. Everywhere else they keep a nano-SIM tray next to the eSIM. Models sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao have two nano-SIM slots and no eSIM (the iPhone 16e sold in Hong Kong and Macao does have eSIM). An iPhone keeps two eSIMs active at once.
