Part of our Tunisia eSIM guide: all articles and key facts →

The cheapest eSIM for Tunisia is not one brand: it changes with the length of your trip and with how much data you need. We read the Tunisia prices of the major providers on 25 September 2026 and ranked them for 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days, per day and per gigabyte. We also looked at the small sellers that undercut them, and at the traps that make a cheap plan expensive.

Key takeaways

  • Among the major brands, the cheapest unlimited eSIM for Tunisia on 25 September 2026 was Yesim for 1, 3, 7, 15 and 30 days (€3.50, €10.50, €24.50, €45, €69) and Nomad for 5 and 10 days (€15.79, €28.95 on 1 October 2026); Maya Mobile's global plan, cheaper at some lengths, is left out because its cap is unverified.
  • Small sellers listed on the esimdb database undercut every major brand, for example 7 days of unlimited data at 2 GB a day for €6.35, but their prices were not verified directly and several slow to 128 kbps after the daily allowance.
  • Per gigabyte, the cheapest major-brand fixed plan we read directly was Orange Travel's 100 GB for 30 days at a promotional €37.99 (about €0.38 per GB), well ahead of Roamless 50 GB (about €1.10) and Yesim 30 GB (€1.17); a local Orange Tunisie pack of 55 GB costs about €0.32 per GB but is sold at points of sale in Tunisia, such as Tunis-Carthage airport.

What is the cheapest eSIM for Tunisia for each trip length?

Among the major brands, Yesim is the cheapest unlimited plan for 1, 3, 7, 15 and 30 days and Nomad for 5 and 10 days, and a fixed plan is cheaper still if you use 1 GB a day or less. The table uses only prices read on the providers' own pages on 25 September 2026 (Nomad: 1 October 2026). It leaves out Maya Mobile's global plan: its price, read on its page, would be lower for 3, 7, 10 and 30-day trips, but its page says "no caps" while esimdb records 5 GB a day, and it renews automatically.

Dollar prices (Jetpac, aloSIM, Roamless) are converted at 1 EUR = 1.1403 USD. The fixed-plan column shows the cheapest plan we read with at least 1 GB per day of the trip.

TripCheapest unlimited (major brands)Cheapest fixed, ≥ 1 GB a dayeSIM Tunisie
1 dayYesim €3.50Yesim 1 GB, 30 days: €2.80€6.50
3 daysYesim €10.50Airalo 3 GB, 3 days: €7€18
5 daysNomad €15.79Yesim 5 GB, 30 days: €9€29
7 daysYesim €24.50Ubigi 10 GB, 7 days: €15€37
10 daysNomad €28.95Nomad 10 GB, 30 days: €16.67€44
15 daysYesim €45Orange Travel 20 GB, 30 days: €19.99 (promotion)€59
30 daysYesim €69Yesim 30 GB, 30 days: €35.20€99

Two cautions. Yesim publishes no daily full-speed figure for its unlimited plans, only that speed "may be limited in accordance with the network operator's Fair Usage Policy". If you want a published cap, the cheapest options are Jetpac for 1 day ($6, about €5.26, 3 GB), Nomad for 3 to 10 days (its 5-day plan at €15.79 and 10-day plan at €28.95, 2 GB a day), Ubigi for 15 days (its 30 GB allowance at that length comes from esimdb, not Ubigi's page) and Jetpac for 30 days ($94.50, about €82.87).

And the table covers only the household names. Smaller sellers go much lower, as the section on small sellers below shows. If you only compare the big brands, keep in mind that you are comparing the best value among them, not the cheapest eSIM on sale.

How much does a Tunisia eSIM cost per day?

A major-brand unlimited eSIM for Tunisia costs between about €2.30 and €3.50 a day at the cheapest, and up to €6.90 a day at Holafly for a single day. The longer the plan, the lower the daily price, for every brand.

TripCheapest per day (brand)eSIM Tunisie per dayHolafly per day
1 day€3.50 (Yesim)€6.50€6.90
3 days€3.50 (Yesim)€6.00€6.30
5 days€3.14 (Nomad)€5.80€5.98
7 days€3.50 (Yesim)€5.29€5.41
10 days€2.88 (Nomad)€4.40€4.49
15 days€3.00 (Yesim)€3.93€4.03
30 days€2.30 (Yesim)€3.30€3.52

The gap per day between the cheapest plan and the dearest narrows as trips get longer, but the total gap grows. For a week, Holafly costs €13.40 more than Yesim; for a month, €36.50 more. Airalo sits in between: €6.17 a day for 3 days, €4.50 for 7 days and €2.97 for 30 days, with 3 GB a day at full speed.

Daily prices hide one detail: a plan must cover the whole trip. Nomad sells unlimited plans for 5 and 10 days only, so a 7-day trip needs its 10-day plan (€28.95). Airalo sells no 1-day unlimited plan for Tunisia, and Ubigi sells 7 and 15 days only.

Which Tunisia eSIM is cheapest per gigabyte?

Among the major brands' fixed plans we read directly, Orange Travel's promotional plans are the cheapest per gigabyte, led by 100 GB for 30 days at €37.99 (about €0.38 per GB); next come Roamless 50 GB (about €1.10 per GB) and Yesim 30 GB (€1.17 per GB), and only plans of 10 GB or more get under €1.50. Per-gigabyte price is the right measure if you know roughly how much data you use.

Plan (validity)PricePer GBNetwork
Orange Travel 100 GB (30 days, promotion)€37.99≈ €0.38Orange, Ooredoo or Tunisie Telecom

Ubigi 10 GB (7 days)€15€1.50Orange
Ubigi 25 GB (30 days)€38€1.52Orange

Unlimited plans can compete per gigabyte if you really use their full daily allowance. Jetpac's 7-day plan gives 21 GB at full speed for $33.50 (about €29.38), about €1.40 per GB; Nomad's 10-day plan works out at about €1.45 and Ubigi's 7-day plan at €1.65. eSIM Tunisie's 7-day plan gives 7 GB at full speed for €37, or €5.29 per GB.

For small needs, the cheapest entry tickets were Yesim's 1 GB valid 30 days (€2.80), Roamless's 1 GB valid 30 days (about €3.46), Nomad's 1 GB valid 7 days (€3.95) and Ubigi's 1 GB valid 7 days (€4). New Yesim users can also buy 400 MB for one day at €0.45, and Roamless gives new users 450 MB free.

Orange Travel's prices are promotions and can change: on 25 September 2026 its Tunisia page, read directly, showed 100 GB for 30 days at €37.99 instead of €61.99 (40% off) and 20 GB for 30 days at €19.99 instead of €27.99; the page gives no end date for the offer. Even at the list price of €61.99, the 100 GB plan would cost about €0.62 per GB, still the lowest of the major brands. Orange Travel says its eSIM switches between Orange, Ooredoo and Tunisie Telecom.

Are small sellers cheaper than the big brands?

Yes, often by a wide margin: the esimdb database lists 211 providers for Tunisia, and many small sellers undercut every major brand. Their prices below come from esimdb, dataset of 25 September 2026, and were not verified directly on the sellers' pages unless stated. We have not vetted their support or reliability.

  • Unlimited, 7 days: Tripuck at 2 GB a day, then 384 kbps, for €6.35; BillionConnect's North Africa plan at 1 GB a day, then 128 kbps, for about €7.80; AlpineSIM at 1 GB a day for €8.22; Yoho Mobile at 1 GB a day, then 128 kbps, for about €8.30.
  • Unlimited, 30 days: Tripuck at 2 GB a day for €26.22; Astaroam at 3 GB a day, then 1 Mbps, for about €29.95; AlpineSIM at 1 GB a day for €31.42.
  • Fixed, 30 days: esimDog 20 GB for about €7.48, Tripuck 20 GB for €7.52 and SimBalkan 20 GB for about €8.53.

In esimdb's data, Tripuck's 2 GB-a-day plan is cheaper than every major brand's unlimited plan of the same length, at 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days. We did check Tripuck's own UK page directly, which shows prices in pounds: 1 GB for 7 days at £1.44, 10 GB for 30 days at £4.24 and 20 GB for 30 days at £6.36. That confirms this price level is real.

The catch is what you give up. Several of these plans slow to 128 kbps after the daily allowance, which is too slow for maps or voice calls; Tripuck's 384 kbps is better but still below the 512 kbps of eSIM Tunisie and the 1 Mbps of Airalo. You also buy from a seller whose support you cannot judge in advance. For a traveller on a tight budget who is comfortable fixing a setup alone, they are worth a look; our list of 10 fixes for a travel eSIM that will not connect is the toolkit you would need.

Can a regional plan be cheaper than a Tunisia plan?

No, not for a trip to Tunisia alone: every regional plan we compared cost the same or more than the same brand's Tunisia-only plan. Airalo's Menalink plan for the Middle East and North Africa charges €14 for 5 GB over 7 days, against €10 for Airalo's Tunisia plan. Its unlimited plan costs €37 for 7 days against €32.

Nomad's MENA plan charges €13.16 for 5 GB over 30 days, against €9.65 for Nomad's Tunisia plan. A regional plan only pays off if you visit several countries on one trip.

Do promotions change the ranking?

Jetpac's are the ones to watch: its 3, 7 and 14-day unlimited prices were promotions on 25 September 2026, and at list price it would drop down the ranking. Jetpac showed 3 days at $19.50 (list $25), 7 days at $33.50 (list $43) and 14 days at $56.50 (list $71).

In euros, the 7-day plan was about €29.38 on promotion and would be about €37.71 at list price, slightly above eSIM Tunisie's €37. The 3-day plan would go from about €17.10 to about €21.92. Our survey did not record an end date for the promotion.

Yesim shows its fixed plans as discounts from higher list prices, but the discounted price was the price shown on 25 September 2026, so we used it. The same applies to Orange Travel's 20 GB and 100 GB plans, shown at 30% and 40% off. Prices in this guide are those of that day; check them again before you buy.

Where does eSIM Tunisie fit on price?

eSIM Tunisie is cheaper than Holafly at every length, ranks 3rd of 11 for a one-day trip and beats Airalo at 3 days, but it is not the cheapest plan for any trip length. Its seven unlimited plans cost €6.50 (1 day), €18 (3 days), €29 (5 days), €37 (7 days), €44 (10 days), €59 (15 days) and €99 (30 days), with 1 GB a day at full speed, then 512 kbps.

  • Where it wins: it is cheaper than Holafly at every length: €6.50 vs €6.90 for 1 day, €18 vs €18.90 for 3 days, €29 vs €29.90 for 5 days, €37 vs €37.90 for 7 days, €44 vs €44.90 for 10 days, €59 vs €60.50 for 15 days and €99 vs €105.50 for 30 days. For a one-day trip it ranks 3rd of 11 brands, and for 3 days it costs less than Airalo (€18 vs €18.50).
  • Where it loses: for 7 days it costs €37, against €24.50 at Yesim, $33.50 (about €29.38) at Jetpac, €32 at Airalo and €33 at Ubigi. For 30 days, €99 against €69 at Yesim. Its 1 GB daily allowance is the lowest of the brands that publish one, and a fixed plan is much cheaper for a light user.

Across 11 brands, counting some whose prices come only from esimdb, it ranks 3rd for 1 day, 6th for 3 days, 8th for 5 days, 8th for 7 days, 8th for 10 days, 8th of 10 for 15 days and 7th of 8 for 30 days. It also runs on one network: its site names Orange Tunisie.

So eSIM Tunisie makes sense for a one-day stopover, or for a traveller who was going to pay Holafly's price: it costs less, is charged in euros and starts only at the first connection in Tunisia. It is not the pick for someone hunting the lowest price for a week or more.

Is a local SIM card cheaper than an eSIM?

Only the largest pack: Orange Tunisie's 55 GB, at about €0.32 per GB, is cheaper per gigabyte than every travel eSIM we read, while Ooredoo's 40 GB pack, at about €0.45 per GB, costs more than Orange Travel's promotional 100 GB eSIM (about €0.38). Both take time on arrival, and Ooredoo asks for a passport number. Prices below are converted at the Central Bank of Tunisia's rate of 24 September 2026: 1 EUR = 3.3699 TND.

  • Ooredoo's Holiday SIM: 10 GB for 30 days at 30 DT (about €8.90) and 40 GB for 30 days at 60 DT (about €17.80), with call minutes and SMS included. It is also sold as an eSIM, pre-ordered with a passport number for pickup at Tunis-Carthage or Djerba-Zarzis.
  • Orange Tunisie's visitor packs: 10 GB for 25 DT and 55 GB for 58 DT, both for 30 days, plus 2 DT for the SIM or eSIM. That is about €8.01 for 10 GB and €17.80 for 55 GB, or about €0.32 per GB.

For a month of heavy use, that beats every travel eSIM in this guide. For a short trip, the saving is small against a €7 to €13 fixed eSIM, and you lose time at a counter. Our guide to every way to get internet in Tunisia weighs the options, and eSIM vs physical SIM explains what changes in practice.

Is roaming with your home operator ever cheaper?

Sometimes, for French customers: Orange France's 3-day unlimited pass for Tunisia costs €9.99, less than Yesim's €10.50, the cheapest 3-day unlimited plan in our table. Tunisia is outside the EU roaming zone, so each operator sets its own price.

  • Orange France's Pass Voyage 1 covers Tunisia: unlimited data for 3 days at €9.99, or 120 GB with 2 hours of calls and 100 SMS for 31 days at €39.99.
  • Free's Free Max plan (€29.99 a month) includes unlimited internet in more than 140 destinations, Tunisia among them.
  • Movistar in Spain charged €12.10 per megabyte in its zone that includes Tunisia, which makes an eSIM far cheaper for its customers.

We did not record the fair-use terms of the Orange France and Free options. Our guide to roaming charges to check before travelling covers what to look for.

Which hidden costs make a cheap eSIM expensive?

Currency fees, plans that do not match your trip length, missing top-ups and slow speeds after the cap can all erase a low headline price. Check these before you pay:

  • Currency. Jetpac, aloSIM and Roamless price in US dollars; your card may add a conversion fee on top of the euro figures in this guide. Yesim, Airalo, Nomad, Holafly, Ubigi and eSIM Tunisie price in euros.
  • Plan lengths. A brand without your exact length makes you buy the next one up: Nomad has no 7-day unlimited plan, and Ubigi none for 10 or 30 days.
  • Top-ups. eSIM Tunisie cannot extend an active plan; you buy a new eSIM. Yesim, Ubigi and aloSIM offer top-ups, and Airalo's Tunisia eSIM is rechargeable.
  • Activation deadlines. Nomad's eSIM must be activated within 60 days and Yesim's within 180 days of purchase; do not buy months ahead.
  • Automatic renewal. Maya Mobile's global plan renews automatically while its "Travel Mode" is on; switch it off at the end of the trip.
  • The speed after the cap. A plan that falls to 128 kbps saves money but not your afternoon; our guide to the real daily caps of unlimited Tunisia eSIMs shows what each speed allows.
